HAUS OF AESTHETICA — OFFICIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

 INTRODUCTION

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of aesthetic treatments and body piercing services by Haus of Aesthetica. By booking an appointment, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. All services are subject to UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, UK GDPR / Data Protection Act 2018, and relevant healthcare and local authority licensing regulations .

CONSULTATION, PRESCRIPTION & PIERCING REQUIREMENTS

 - All treatments & piercings require a free face-to-face consultation prior to any procedure. This includes a full medical history review, assessment, and discussion of realistic outcomes, risks, and aftercare.

- Prescription Only Medicines (POMs): Anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, and other prescription treatments must be prescribed by our in-Haus Nurse Prescriber following a face-to-face assessment — remote prescribing is not permitted.

- Body Piercing – Age Limits & UK Law:

- There is no single UK-wide statutory age limit for most body piercings, however age restrictions apply to specific placements by law :

- Nipple & genital piercings: Legally restricted — 18+ only across the UK

- Other placements (ear, nose, navel, facial etc.): Age limits set by placement and local authority licensing conditions; under-16s require a parent/legal guardian present with written consent (Scotland statutory requirement; England/Wales industry standard)

- Wales: Intimate piercings (tongue, nipple, genitals) on anyone under 18 are a statutory offence

- The piercer reserves the absolute right to refuse any piercing to any person, at any time, should they deem it medically unsuitable, anatomically unfeasible, unsafe, or not in the client’s best interest — regardless of age or consent.

- We reserve the right to refuse any treatment or piercing if it is deemed medically unsuitable, unsafe, or not in your best interest.

BOOKING, DEPOSITS & PAYMENT

 - A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment slot, payable at the time of booking.

- Deposits are deducted from your final balance on the day of treatment.

- Remaining balance is due in full before treatment commences.

- Accepted payment methods: Bank Transfer, Cash, Card, Apple Pay / Google Pay — Klarna coming soon in clinic.

- Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice or no-show = deposit retained to cover product reservation, practitioner time, and clinic costs.

- Outstanding balances must be settled within 24 hours of your appointment. Non-payment may result in suspended future bookings, referral to debt recovery, and legal action — all recovery costs will be added to the balance.

MEDICAL SUITABILITY & CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

 - You must disclose all relevant medical history, allergies, medications, previous aesthetic treatments/piercings, pregnancy/breastfeeding status, and any changes in health — failure to do so may affect safety and results.

- Aesthetic injectable treatments: We do not treat clients under 18 years of age.

- Piercing ID requirement: All clients who appear under 25 must provide valid government-issued photo ID as standard professional practice.

- You must inform us of any known allergies, bleeding disorders, or skin conditions prior to any procedure.

- You agree to follow all pre-treatment and aftercare advice provided. Failure to do so may adversely affect results, healing, and increase risk of complications — and is not grounds for refund.

TREATMENT OUTCOMES & REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS

 - All results are individual and vary. No specific outcome is guaranteed — descriptions are for guidance only and do not constitute a warranty.

- Piercing healing times vary by placement, individual health, and aftercare — full healing may take several months.

- Photographs shown are for illustrative purposes only; individual results will differ.

- Treatments and piercings are not permanent — maintenance or jewellery changes may be required over time.

- Minor swelling, redness, tenderness, or light bruising are normal expected reactions and not considered complications or grounds for refund.

REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS & COMPLAINTS

 - Once treatment or piercing has been performed, fees are non-refundable in line with industry standards and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — where services have been performed with informed consent.

- Refunds may only be issued at our absolute discretion in exceptional circumstances.

- Concerns will be addressed through our consultation, review, and aftercare process — not through withholding payment.

- If you are unhappy with your treatment or piercing, please inform us in writing within 7 days. We will offer a review appointment to discuss and address concerns.

- This does not affect your statutory consumer rights under UK law.

LIABILITY, DATA & SAFETY

 - Haus of Aesthetica carries full professional indemnity, public liability, and product liability insurance appropriate to all treatments and piercings offered.
